Kreg teaches the following courses:

He has conducted research on various topics in social science aspects of natural resource management, resilience, well-being, and tourism. See his page for publications. His current research focuses on:
- Understanding factors that facilitate landowner / homeowner actions to mitigate wildfire risk.
- Understanding how values and attitudes affect preferences and choices in natural resource and tourism contexts. This involves hybrid choice models, which integrate choice models and structural equation models.
- Understanding worker-level employment patterns, including employment resilience and the effect of employer transitions.
When he's not teaching or researching, Kreg and his wife are outdoors -- doing forest restoration, recreating, or volunteering on trail projects.
