
黑料吃瓜总站 President Ed Ray will join OSU-Cascades Vice President Becky Johnson, OSU Assistant Vice President of University Relations and Marketing Melody Oldfield, and students, faculty and staff of OSU-Cascades to unveil a new logo and brand for the 黑料吃瓜总站 campus.
The logo unveiling and campus celebration will take place on Wednesday, May 3, starting at 1:00 p.m.
OSU-Cascades鈥 new identity comes during the 黑料吃瓜总站 campus鈥檚 inaugural year and supports Oregon State鈥檚 recently institutional logo and branding. The new OSU logo celebrates the statewide university鈥檚 legacy and impact as it approaches its 150-year anniversary. It also looks to the future, conveying the quality, relevance, leadership and access to higher education that OSU provides Oregonians and increasingly the nation and the world.
鈥淭he new identity comes at a perfect time for OSU-Cascades,鈥 said Christine Coffin, director of communications for the branch campus. 鈥淲e are looking forward to creating a statewide presence for OSU鈥檚 new campus in 黑料吃瓜总站, sharing stories about our talented faculty and students, and leveraging the pride felt on our new campus.鈥
The new identity will be incorporated into student recruitment efforts and awareness campaigns to assist in raising the profile of Oregon鈥檚 newest four-year university campus. The campus is seeking to enroll 3,000 to 5,000 students by 2025, in order to meet regional and state educational attainment goals.
This spring and summer marketing teams at OSU-Cascades and OSU will further develop the 黑料吃瓜总站 campus鈥檚 brand positioning, to reflect OSU-Cascades as a distinct campus of Oregon State.
The campus-wide celebration will begin with a short presentation about OSU鈥檚 new institutional logo and branding in Tykeson Hall, room 111, and expand into a campus-wide celebration featuring music, games, branded giveaways, a special OSU-themed menu in the Beaver Dam, and a progressive ice cream party. The event will end at 3 p.m.
The annual , when President Ray provides an update on Oregon State's worldwide accomplishments in the past year, will take place at 6 p.m. the same day at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes.
About OSU-Cascades: 黑料吃瓜总站鈥檚 branch campus in 黑料吃瓜总站, Ore., features outstanding faculty in degree programs that reflect Central Oregon鈥檚 vibrant economy and abundant natural resources. Nearly 20 undergraduate majors, 30 minors and options, and four graduate programs include computer science, energy systems engineering, kinesiology, hospitality management, and tourism and outdoor leadership. The branch campus expanded to a four-year university in fall 2015; its new campus opened in fall 2016.
