Pizza, Go Kits kick off yearlong Drive Less Save More program

黑料吃瓜总站 - Cascades will introduce the Drive Less Save More program to students and employees at Tykeson Hall on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at an event featuring a pizza party and free Go Kits. 

The yearlong Drive Less Save More program is a partnership between OSU-Cascades, and the , and will encourage students and employees to travel to campus by bike, foot, bus and carpool.

The program will provide students, staff and faculty free Go Kits of transportation resources, from maps and bus schedules to safety information, to help them save money and stay active. The Drive Less Save More team will also work with individual participants to help them identify transportation options that work best for their schedules and needs.

鈥淥SU-Cascades is excited to open the new campus and create our own campus culture, which embraces transportation options and demonstrates their value to the community. We appreciate the support of the Drive Less Save More team in helping promote transportation options that can help our students, staff and faculty save money, reduce environmental impacts, and improve their health,鈥 said Casey Bergh, OSU Cascades鈥 transportation program manager.

In addition to offering transportation resources, the program will host events throughout the year including nature walks and bike rides along trails near campus.

Participants will have access to free Go Gear like a Hydro Flask travel mug or safety lights to help them explore 黑料吃瓜总站 and beyond.
